Keith was my fire Lt..I was his driver/engineer

I first met Keith in 1985 during my 6 month stint in the firehouse at Sta 6. I was taken with his easy going manner and dry sense of humor at routine firehouse life. One night, my mom brought dinner for all of us. She was recently widowed, and just doing her best. Keith saw her and exclaimed, "Bart, introduce me to your sister!" Typical Keith humor. Well, a little less than a yr later, they were married. They spent an adventurous 26 yrs together. Keith was one of a kind. Loved by all who knew him, I always saw to it that he & my mom went wherever they needed to be in these later yrs. His great sense of humor & dry wit never waned, and it was always educational to hear his stories on that long ride from Idaho to Ca during the holidays. I always looked forward to those trips. Keith, I'll never forget the impact you made on us during your time here, and I'll surely miss our trips to Ca. I hope theres a 'Longhorn" in heaven buddy. Now you can rest.
